Lisa Hanh
Innocent office lady by day, party animal by night, anti-fascist cyberterrorist underneath it all; occasional technopath.
Personality:
Can be incredibly bossy, especially in situations she has experience with. Not having any doesn't mean she won't be, and either way she can and will acquiesce to better ideas or know-how (she's practical) – but she's completely capable of steamrolling over other people if she feels it's necessary.
Favors action over words. Extremely frank, rather loud.
Conversely, very invested in language and its ability to affect and change the world; has a real passion for political discourse, particularly concerning marginalized groups.
Adventurous, but not reckless. There isn't much she won't try, but she prefers to plan things out first.
Doesn't really do relationships, much more interested in hook-ups, has no real gender preference in partners.
Personable and the opposite of shy, but generally not prone to making a lot of friends, largely because she isn't particularly interested in reigning herself in on… anything.
Extremely dedicated to those who are her friends; if you're one of hers she'll go hard in the paint for you.
Blunt, outspoken, occasionally sharp. Very decisive and opinionated.
A very good student; generally comes across as rather straight-laced in classes but that is extremely misleading.
Partial to wearing cutesy clothing and has her hair in plaits more often than not. Additionally partial to subtly skanking up these outfits in ways that might not be immediately noticeable.
A consummate party girl; adept in the art of sleeping for three hours and turning up for work on time, prepared, and looking very put together.
History:
From San Jose, California.
Had an uneventful childhood for the most part. Did the whole ballet, violin, flute, tennis rigamarole, was reasonably good at all of it.
Always had an interest in electronics and gadgets; started tinkering at a very young age.
Eventually found she could control and interface with her mind.
Kept it a secret for a while and used her powers to access a variety of things she wasn't supposed to.
Got caught and got sent to a boarding school.
Went on to college and graduated with degrees in both compsci and a multi-discipline humanities program she designed herself.
A member of a variety of advocacy groups.
Moved to Moscow a few years back, ostensibly due to a job transfer, in reality because she's lying low after attracting a little too much federal attention to her hacktivist activities.
